Put your left thumb anywhere on the left half of the screen to move; push to the edge to sprint. SHOOT: hold to build power, aim with the stick, let go. PASS: tap for a ground pass, hold for a lob. THROUGH plays the ball into space. When the other team has the ball the buttons change to SLIDE, SWITCH player and TACKLE.
Passes, tackles, saves and shots on target fill your Super ring. When it glows, press SUPER for the special move of the player you control — like Noodle's curling Noodle Whip.
Beat each region's rival in Story mode to sign a new star. Tournaments open as you win the one before (or progress in Story). Win the World Bowl to meet a secret legend.
Quick Play finds a real player for a 5-a-side match. If nobody is around after a few seconds you play a bot instead, and it's always labelled “Bot”. Create a room to get a 6-letter code for a friend. Online, every player's stats are evened out, so upgrades don't matter — skill does.
Change the difficulty (Easy, Normal, Hard, Legend) in Settings or on the Quick Match screen, and the match length too.
Check the volume and the Sound switch in Settings. On iPhone the game plays even with the silent switch on.
